We can handle your precision plastic machining and fabrication needs.

As a plastic machining and fabrication company, we work with very inexpensive paper-based materials to the most highly-developed -- and expensive – engineering plastics, both thermoplastics and thermosets. The materials we machine include ABS, acetal, acrylic, canvas-phenolic, epoxy-based phenolics, fiberglass, fish-paper, linen-based phenolics, nylons, paper-based phenolics, Peek, PEI, polycarbonate, polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene, PPS, pvc, teflon, UHMW, vulcanized fiber. K&E has established relationship with material producers – giving us volume-buying power with major material producers. Familiar brand names K&E works with include Delrin, Extren, Hydlar Z, Lexan, Micarta, Nylatron, Plexiglas, Ryton, and Ultem from Norplex, Quadrant, GE Plastics and other major manufacturers.

The current parts roster at K&E includes parts that range from sub-miniature – mere 1000ths of an inch in length and width -- to parts that are 7-feet long, 4-feet wide and 4-inches thick!

We have the latest in CNC machinery and technology to produce parts efficiently and to exacting specifications. Our machines are made by Bridgeport, Cincinnati-Lamb, Haas, Gabbiani, and Komo. Machine table sizes range from 16 x 12 inches to 60 x 96 inches. Most of our vertical milling centers feature high-speed spindles and rapid tool-changers. Our CNC lathe features an 8-station turret.

K&E Plastics has experienced steady growth over the forty-plus years of our business, but we are still a family-owned and run business and plan to stay that way. We are small enough to pay personal attention to every order. Our machinists have an average of 15-years of experience, so our productivity is extremely high.

We pride ourselves on quick turnaround on quotes. Working with electronic format drawings allows quote and then program parts to increase efficiency, lower costs and provide speedy lead times.
